At Ashley Gardens, we understand that Alzheimer’s and other types of memory diseases can be extremely challenging not only to the individual who is facing the disease, but also to the entire family. We also understand that the decision to place a loved one in the care of others is perhaps one of the most difficult decisions you’ll ever have to make. Knowing this, we are here to make the decision – and transition – as simple and reassuring as possible. We are here for our residents and their families…
Our Community
Take your first few steps inside our community and you’ll quickly notice that it really does feel like home. Each cottage is carefully designed for no more than eight or nine residents. Furnishings are carefully selected for style, comfort and functionality.
At Ashley Gardens, we truly value and respect the uniqueness of each individual who lives with memory impairments and strive to provide the best possible personalized assistance to allow our residents to achieve their highest level of functioning, while still maintaining personal dignity and independence.
We provide a loving and supportive environment for those who cannot function independently but do not need continuous nursing care. All of our activities and programs are specifically designed to bring meaning and value into the lives of our residents by allowing them to be as independent as possible.
The small size of our community means that each of our residents receive personal attention and individualized care from experienced caregivers on a daily basis. The small size also creates a more home-like environment where our residents can feel comfortable and secure in their surroundings. This also greatly limits the amount of stress and confusion that our residents experience on a daily basis, providing them with a healthier and happier lifestyle.
Our Staff
We’ve chosen our staff carefully so you can feel completely confident in the care your loved one receives. All of our caregivers go through additional, specialized training that enables them to both understand and meet the needs of residents with memory diseases and impairments. Our ratio of one staff member for every five residents is much lower than you’ll likely find at larger communities. This means that individualized attention is assured for each resident and that our residents – and their families – can take comfort in knowing that they will be cared for. Ashley Gardens participates in the Washington Healthcare Association.

Because living with a pet promotes less stress, better health and overall happiness, we gladly welcome your pets. We understand leaving your beloved behind is not and option. After all, they're a member of your family and we look forward to them becoming a member of ours!
