Our residents enjoy private and semi-private room accommodations, providing them with personal space to furnish and decorate; however, fully furnished rooms are also available. The entire Ashley Gardens community was designed with style, comfort and functionality in mind.
And since cooking aromas can help stimulate the senses and appetite, all food is cooked fresh on the premises, in a homey, residential kitchen… just a few steps away from the dining tables!
Our daily community plan includes a schedule of life enrichment programs that offer a comfortable challenge and stimulation for the mind and the body. Each activity is geared to match the individual resident’s interests and capabilities and aims to maintain or increase the resident’s functional and mental capabilities.
Respite & Day Care
Providing care to a loved one with memory loss can be a very rewarding, yet time consuming and tiring job. At Ashley Gardens, we understand that no matter how dearly memory-impaired family members are loved, their caregivers do need to rest from time to time.
As the primary caregiver for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or other memory diseases, there is little time left for personal activities or errands. Vacations or simply taking an evening for dinner and a movie can be difficult. Ashley Gardens recognizes the sacrifice caregivers make every single day and offers assistance to help in the care of loved ones.
Respite care and day care at Ashley Gardens provides a safe, home-like environment for your loved one 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We understand that, like your loved one, your family dynamic is unique. So here at Ashley Gardens, we strive to provide complete support for you and your family. Whether you are looking for a short break from caregiving for a few hours a day, a week or even for up to 30 days, we can provide your loved one with personalized quality care, and you with the break that you deserve.
Alzheimer's Support Group
At Ashley Gardens, we know how difficult it is when a loved one has Alzheimer's. We believe it helps when you can talk to and lean on others who truly know what you're going through. Our Alzheimer's Support Group is designed to do just that. The purpose of this group is to reach out and porvide education, support and resources for caregivers, families, firens and communiities regarding Alzheimer's and other disease related dementia.
Support Group meets the 3rd Monday of each month at 2:30 p.m.
Location: Trinity Lutheran Church at 301 S. 18th Street.
